Solar Powered Automatic Irrigation System

This project deals with the devleopment of Solar powered Automatic Irrigation system. The propsoed project deals with smart irrigation to provide water only when it is requied. The Soil moisture sensors interfaced to the arduino microcontroller reads the level of moisture in the soil. If the plants require the water, the pump is triggered on and only adequate quantiy of water will be provided. When the moisture reached back to initial position it will turn off the pump automatically. The manual and auto mode switch is present to shift the system to manual mode where the farmer can turn on the pump irrespective of the moisture reading or to automatic mode which will automatically turn on the pump depending on the moisture reading. The entire Project is powered Using solar energy.
