IOT based Portable Ventilator For emergency Situations

The covid19 pandemic has hit globally with millions of people losing their lives while millions are struggling in ICUs for their lives. Since the covid19 outbreak was without any prior preparation it caused havoc as the healthcare systems were not ready for such an impact. The people are struggling due to scarcity of oxygen and shortage of ventilators. The proposed project suggests an innovative concept of DIY low cost ventilator to which can be used during emergency situations . The proposed solution is a low cost economical and effective manual resuscitator activated and using the smart Arduino based system which can provide ventilation to needy in emergency situation with adjustable breath time and rates per minute.. The Proposed system also consists of health monitoring system to check pulse rate and blood oxygen levels along with ventilation making it a perfect solution to implement in all Centres. Thus the proposed solution can be an effective low cost approach to the shortage of ventilators and health resources in COVID19 situation saving thousands of lives.
